The Ocean is a source of endless fascination, wonder, life, and concern. This photograph was taken in 2018 just off of the coast of Salt Spring Island in the Pacific Ocean. The intense colour and magnitude of this water was hypnotizing and look forward to seeing it again. I want this photo to invoke a range of emotions regarding the Pacific Ocean, and any body of water really, an appreciation of it's power and magnitude, but also it's vulnerability to human activity, and ultimately, it's revenge on humanity through rising sea levels because we've abused the sacred balance. This is a limited edition of 100, signed, numbered, titled and dated on the back of the print in pencil. Framed in black wooden frame with high-definition glass.
Where it's been: I've kept this photo in my private collection until 2023 when it felt right to share its beauty through reproductions. I will be contacting galleries in 2024 to show it.
